Hustle

I've been really excited to blog this week. Working out and blogging always seems to be my therapy. We are busy packing this week because we will be gone to the beach right before our move. I was recently asked to blog and post for two different boutiques so I will have some fun posts coming up over the next few weeks.

I wanted to share a few things I'm obsessing over right now. The hustle has been real to keep everything together with the three kids home with me all day. We had a little mishap with finger nail polish on a certain two year old little boy this morning!!

1. I have just decided I'm over the Better Than Sex Mascara. It just flakes so much. I always recommend it but it really dries out quickly. I have two that I'm recommending now.

MAC INSTA CURL

This is for my girls who need some curl and thickness. I've always had long lashes. In high school I had girls telling their moms that I wore fake lashes everyday (I mean I have on occasion in my adult life) and then my mom would have to tell their moms that no I don't wear those. I have the length but that doesn't even matter if they fall flat and mine do. So this has been great. MAC also has a great lash curler.

The other that my friend Caitlin recommended is good. I haven't used it much yet but I think it will be good.

Perversion by Urban Decay

2. I'm obsessing over my hubby. He drives me up the wall y'all and we may just kill each other during the building process but he is my rock. I could stare at him all day. I'm so thankful that we still flirt every day after almost 8 years of marriage and being together for 16 years. But that doesn't mean I didn't get frustrated last night with him about picking out a floor plan for the new house. I will say I love that I went out to the garage and hugged him 5 minutes after a little disagreement....can't resist P'Daddy. Whatever, it is life. He has to accept the rollercoaster of love to be with me. Ha!

3. I have no choice at this point but to be obsessed with fitness. I have a photo shoot with Kristoffer Cox at the middle/end of July and I am nervous and excited. He is INCREDIBLE and he shoots all the best bikini and body building bodies. I'm really hard on myself but I'm excited to see what photos he comes up with for me. Anything to motivate me right?!

I AM LOVING FOREVER21 WORKOUT GEAR!!! GO LOOK!!!

4. My girl Haley (who blogs on here) is my hair guru. She tells me what to do and what to try and she also is just very fashionable and pretty. I love having a friend who I can literally always talk to about make-up and girly things. She has chosen a new hair style for me. I am growing my hair back RIDICULOUSLY long but the color is going to be very cool. Stay tuned for next week. I don't think I want to share yet but if you know what balayage is then that is what I am going for and hopefully my hair gal (she is awesome) will know what that is too, ha. I'm always scared. We also have to go way darker because my hair likes to be PLATINUM so it fades fast. Stay tuned. Fingers crossed!

5. Who is excited for the 4th??!!! Do you know what you are wearing?

Target always has a good selection for Holiday needs.

I grabbed that cover up to throw over my white bikini to be a little patriotic.

Hope everyone enjoys the weekend and then the actual 4th!! Be safe! Make America Great Again ;)

Fix My Focus

I know you have been there. You are thinking God went on vacay. Man, I can't wait to get away again in about two weeks for another long beach trip!!!

My post last week said Okay God....I'm getting a little frustrated with selling our home. I'm not saying this is the only thing that makes me go...umm Lord? But it is an easier example to share. I also know he is ALWAYS working. I have my moments where I totally see a situation going a different way and I feel confused why I went through something for it to turn out so worthless but I know that again it is part of the plan. So, God showed me yet again He is in control and sold our home this week. My challenge is having faith on God's schedule because I'm a planner and perfectionist. Now I'm just hoping all goes smoothly over the next 28 days to closing.

We managed to find an apartment today and we will be moving into that apartment in a matter of 20 something days! So, we are starting the packing process which you can ONLY imagine. We have so much STUFF!!! I mean just the décor is insane. So, I will do a little bit each day so that I don't stress...TOO MUCH.

Patrick's job is to find the builder. I've said that since day 1. He hasn't sat down with any yet (that is a man for you!) but he will and I have three floor plans he has approved to show a builder so we shall see.

I honestly am so tired of cleaning this big ole house that I will literally be SO happy to live in an apartment. I know that sounds crazy but I am EXCITED. We are signing a lease for 11 months but 11 months goes FAST. The apartment has a pool, gym, volleyball sand area, playground and it is right across from another park and trails and close to a LOT of things. I always think that these are the times you remember the most. You remember the simple and the journey together.

Well I need to go get ready. A few girlfriends and I are trying out a winery that has come to our town! I've heard good things so it will be fun to chat over some wine.

Have a blessed weekend!

Lashes make everything better.

Happy Thursday friends! Lately I have been looking at the idea of getting lash extensions. My lashes have always been thin and not all that dark. I look back at events where I had falsies put on and am just dying to have something like that again. You're probably thinking...just buy strip lashes and put them on yourself. Well, I'm just not that coordinated.

However, I have some tried and true products I like to use to help my lashes out. Fake it till you make it right?! I have used fibers before and they were good then, but nowadays, I'd just rather not fool around with them. Here are some of my favorite mascaras, primers, and lash growth serums I like to use. I prefer a waxier mascara because it builds better on my fine lashes. I've added my favorite products below to scroll through.

What are you using/have used that you love?!

Fine Wine

Like a fine wine, we get better with age.

I believe it. I think each passing year gets better and better. Last night Patrick celebrated 30! I'm proud of him for all he has accomplished to be only 30. I've heard a woman is her absolute best at 40. I'd believe that. I turn 30 next month and I'm excited about it. I think part of getting older is you know what you want and you don't really give a crap what anyone thinks. I feel more at peace and learned that some things can't be hoped. You can't change people and you learn to accept things and avoid some things like the plague. With age comes wisdom, for most! God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy!!

This meme of Patrick just slays me. He has changed a lot since that 11 year old I met!!

We enjoyed our family vacay the other week but we also really enjoyed our time alone together. We talked a lot about what is in store for our family over the next year. We just lowered the price on our home hoping to sell it faster. I'm not quite sure why it hasn't sold. I really do believe it is all God's timing. I can't see any other reason. This time has given me more time to reflect and to look up house plans and to come to the realization that we want our children to go to Rock Hill schools (the good thing about Charter schools!!) and to hopefully continue at our RH church and involvement in York County. It has been a lot to process. We will rent an apartment for a year in RH while we build and we will really take our time to make sure everything is just right with our new, final home. Clearly God has a master plan and I even touched on this at VBS to the children about God's plan for our lives. I don't know his exact plan yet but I am getting a little sick and tired of cleaning and having to look at a for sale sign in the yard. Ok, God?

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the upcoming week because the kiddos are in a day camp and I get some alone time to lounge by the pool each morning (they are wearing me out!!). I've also got to get serious about my exercise routine because I have a photo shoot next month with an awesome fitness photographer. I try to set goals each month. I don't write them down or track anything but it is a mind game really. I told myself in June that I had to win my race in Charleston. I went into it not saying I want to but that I will and I am so proud of myself.

Everything is such a mind game. I love running.

I'm about to move up in the age range for races and you would think that would be a good thing but it actually isn't at all. (You get better with age!!) I looked up the Charleston race times and the 1st place winner for 30-34 was a little faster than me so now I know I have to train even harder..

So cheers to 30! Guess I better enjoy the last few weeks in my 20s! Officially a grown WOMAN when you are in your 30s! Ha! The best is yet to come!!!

Eye of the Beholder

I wanted to give this new Bachelorette a try! I was interested to see what type of guy she would be interested in this season. Her first rose went to a guy named Bryan who is a doctor and spoke to her in a foreign language upon meeting her.

They basically had their tongues down each others’ throats right away!! Slow your roll!!

It got me thinking about what makes us be most attracted to someone. Obviously we are visual creatures and our first instinct is to judge appearance before knowing someone. All of those interpretations definitely change for the better or worse after getting to know that person’s personality. I’ve made a very scientific (I’m telling you!!) observation that people tend to marry someone who looks very similar to their facial features.

It is startling when you really pay attention to it. I can usually determine if the couple will last according to their looks and I’m usually not far off base. I guess you tend to be drawn to someone similar to you.

I don’t think Rachel, the bachelorette, will choose Bryan but he is definitely a cutie!

Attraction comes from so much more than appearance, though. For me personally, confidence is key and voice is very important. I was talking with a friend the other day who said a guy was so cute and then he opened his mouth to speak and she said “ooooohhhh okay!”. I definitely feel that a voice can change your opinion quickly before you even listen to the words that they say to you.

(YES!!!!!)

Confidence is sexy. A quiet confidence. I am instantly turned off by men and women (as friends) if they feel a need to brag to me (if you need to say it then who you trying to convince?) and if they put themselves down to me as well.

I’m not sure what Rachel will want in a mate but I’d imagine someone independent and successful like she is being a lawyer and single lady. I always find passion very attractive in a person. My husband hears often after an interview that he is SO passionate about his job. He definitely is and I love hearing him talk about things he cares a lot about. Passion shows drive and if that person is a go-getter then they will strive to also make their mate happy!

We have a long season so hopefully Rachel will stay true to herself and not get caught up in the easy part of it all but really dig deeper with the guys she has to date. Wouldn’t it be fun and nerve wracking to be in her shoes?
Let me know your thoughts. I REFUSE each year to look at the final pick but I’m going to say that I believe she will choose…

 or

either Eric or Peter…strictly due to my research of the face. I say the high cheek bones and the space between the teeth due to me not knowing much about their personalities yet. Who does she chose? Who do you like? I might change my mind on that prediction next week but I’m sticking to it for now.

AND my  husband shaved his head last night (well we both shaved his head)…but I wanted him to. He was losing his hair and made it a few weeks shy of 30. Of course he blames me for the hair loss but he knew what he was getting into with a girl like me. Or it could just be due to us having 3 small children! Some days it is crazy, ya’ll! But regardless I think he looks super handsome.  I LOVE rubbing the shaved head. Love is in the eye of the beholder :)

Have an awesome weekend!

Summer Kick-Off

It didn't hit me until Monday that it is officially summer time. My two littlest ones are out and my oldest will have completed kindergarten next week.

Cecilia was happy to throw up her deuces to pre-school and excited to hang with me for a few months before she starts kindergarten.

We enjoyed our neighborhood pool this weekend but also got a taste of reality. We have had a family emergency and a life or death situation in our close family. Thankfully things are improving and I won't go into detail on it but it certainly puts things into perspective. You only get one life so we have to express our love to those around us and be thankful for each other and for this life.

We are supposed to be going to our family beach house next weekend for our beach week but that may be cancelled. We have two other beach trips planned, though. Patrick and I will be at the beach alone from a Wednesday to a Sunday and I really can't believe it. I can't believe I will be able to have an actual vacay with no little people to watch. AWESOME!

We also always go on vacation with my parents and have SO much fun. My parents are a lot of fun and they are very hands on with our kiddos so that will be something to look forward to in July.

Patrick and I both turn 30 soon and we are thinking that our gift will be a trip to Texas to visit our close friends. We have not booked our flights because we are still trying to sell our home. We just need to do one thing at a time. Our life is so busy so we do try to take things slow. We have had great feedback and lots of showings. I think God's timing is just not our timing and we are just being patient that he has a greater plan for us and the family that will get this awesome house.

The children have a few summer camps and vacation bible school. Patrick and I will aim to teach a class during VBS together.

We will have many carowinds, park, pool, and cookouts to enjoy over the next two to three months.

So thankful for this time with my littles.

Have a great week! I usually leave a fun song so I will add that below ;)

Things I'm loving lately...

Hi friends! It's been a bit since I've posted so I apologize. It's been a bit crazy. I feel like our summer just teeming with events and trips and I couldn't be more excited!! And, I turn T H I R T Y this summer. Woah. The year just started, and I feel like in a blink we'll be back at Christmas. Anyways, here is some things I have been loving lately.

O N E
I have been loving this cleanser. It literally just melts off your make up. And it is fragrance free and also free of sulfates, parabens, and phthalates. I also picked up this serum to help calm this skin of mine.

T W O
Has anyone started watching "Anne with an E" on Netflix? It is so cute. It is about Anne of Green Gables. I am on episode 3, and it has made me laugh so much. Also, if any of the readers here are Bloodline followers... the final season comes back NEXT weekend!!! It's going to be crazy for sure.

T H R E E
I got this sunscreen in an Influenster box for review. It is AWESOME. I have been singing its praises. It goes on nicely and actually dries. It's not the least bit greasy and doesn't even smell like sunscreen. It is PERFECT for under make up or even out at the pool/beach. I'm obsessed.

F O U R
I'll be in the office in Spartanburg next week. I recently picked up a few things from Loft and can't wait to wear work clothes. Don't get me wrong; I love working from home, but I miss getting dressed up everyday.

I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of their week and awesome weekend.

Ain't No HOOD like MotherHOOD

At the young age of 23 I found myself expecting my first little one. I lost that baby. I wanted to be a wife and mother my whole life and knew I would be at a young age. Looking back now, I was too young. I pray my daughter will not have kids that soon.

Being a mom is tough. It is amazing. It is fun. It is the circle of life and I am beyond blessed and thankful for three precious, healthy little ones.

But real talk, I have my days when I wonder what other paths would be like and then I take one glimpse into those big blue, big green, or big brown eyes and I know I'm right where I'm supposed to be!!

I've learned a lot in a short amount of time. I can tell you one thing....mothering one child, even two is ENTIRELY different than mothering 3. Mothering 4 kids....I don't even know what to tell you besides I hope you have some good help sister!

I always think I'm not like regular moms...I'm a cool mom (what movie?). I think the fact that I'm more laid back helps out a lot. I definitely recommend to all my new mothers to find outlets. I'm not just talking about people. People can listen but you have to learn to express yourself outside of those little people who you absolutely adore.

I love to blog. I love to write. I love to be creative so I am currently typing this with a crown & sprite (brought to me by PDaddy) and listening to my favorite songs. It's my thing and I love to workout and run. That is my other escape. My mood differs when I don't let out that energy and it is in a way my therapy.

One of my biggest complaints about mothers is that they don't take time for themselves. For Mother's Day, I asked for a girls' night. I am heading to the Pump House Restaurant with two friends for a nice dinner tonight. Besides a little time away, I am just thankful for some handmade school cards which were hilarious. Did you know I am 155 years old?

I hope all the mother's have a blessed holiday! You only get one Mama and you should cherish her. If you have a mom who isn't the greatest then I would say that there must be a woman in your life who possesses the qualities you admire and she is your woman this holiday.

I'm thankful for my woman, little Debbie Cake. I'm thankful God has entrusted me at a young age with three children all very close in age. He clearly has more faith and trust in me than I do. I am thankful for Patrick being a great Dad because it takes a village to raise children.

If you aren't a mother yet then I say enjoy your free time and know that there is no HOOD like that of MotherHOOD!!!!!

Love,

Dana

Enjoy the song below! One of my FAVORITES!!!!!

May, Really?

Time escapes me. How is it May? In a matter of weeks my kids will all be out of school for summer and we will be busy with pool days, summer camps, beach trips, and a lot of outdoor meals!

We had the absolute best time with our crew in Charleston last weekend!!

I've met a lot of people after college and some I've kept around and can see the long term but they are few and far between. You have to be selective and find your ride or dies like these good folks, ha. I think as you mature you just really like quality and try to avoid the social climbers!

Speaking of climbing...I had my first camping outdoors experience. It wasn't anything to brag about. I think the fall would be better. But, look at me and CC doing our country girl thang!!

We've been busy w/ the kids a lot lately. Whit was terrific kid for the month of May!
These kids. They have been keeping me on my toes lately! They are STAGE FIVE CLINGERS. One of these gals on the blog was saying yesterday how hard it is to stay home with the kids. It definitely can be like that. I always think "Mama said there'd be days like these!" Not every day can be awesome. Some days are just days and some days you might want to lock yourself in your room.

I did get to have a very fun day yesterday! I got to meet the REAL DEAL Evander Holyfield and go to a Gala for the Boys & Girl's Club!

 My sweet MAMA

I never shared which long dress I chose. I went with Lavender....I can do black any time even though the black was killer. The lavender needed no alterations and us short girls almost always have to get alterations! Fit like a glove! I also saw a celebrity who had this AMAZING handbag. It was blinged out and had her married name on it. I looked it up and it was $4,000!!!! I knew I wanted a little silver bag and needed one in general. I did a lot of research and literally told myself I had to spend only $25! Well that is HARD! I found an adorable silver with a tassel from target and got it shipped for $14 and got my name on it! See below!

I thought I did pretty good for a quick find! She can have her $4,000 bag! Even if I could get a bag that costly, I would never do it. I'd feel too guilty. There are way more important things I could do with that money and PLENTY of people you could help instead of a bag. I always feel that I'd be that celebrity in the bargain dresses to help out my regular sisters but you'd read about my charities. At least I'd hope I'd be that way!

I ramble. I need to go get a few things done! Everyone have a blessed week!!!

Pump, pump, pump it up!

Hi friends! I wanted to be quick and share this new hair product I picked up last week. I had seen it floating around the blog world & it definitely doesn't disappoint & it doesn't break the bank. Oh, and did I mention it can be found at Target?! Winning!

I apply this directly to my roots (wet, obvi) and then put the remaining throughout my hair. I will blow dry my roots back and forth with a round brush (being sure to blow the heat in the direction the hair is being brushed...with the grain of the hair if you will). It gives such great lift and doesn't leave your roots feeling like you have a lot of product on them. That's one thing I love, if you can achieve volume, texture, etc etc, and it doesn't feel heavy in your hair, then it gets an A+ in my book. When your hair is thin, the weight of a product can really affect the style you are trying to achieve.

She also has a lot to her line that I definitely want to take a look at. Have any of you used this brand?

Shop it here!

I always love to pass on hair products because I have always struggled with thin, not voluminous, couldn't hold a curl, hair. I just have to share with y'all. That's only right. That's what good friends do!!

It is a super busy week getting prepared to fly out on Friday for Alison's wedding. We are so excited to see all our friends together in ONE place & celebrate our girl & new addition (Kris) to the group officially.

Happy Monday!!

Haley

Think A Little Less

I can't even begin to explain how excited I am going to be to get to Charleston this weekend.

I have been running in a million directions lately and I'm ready to see my favorite hot mamas and hang out. I'm ready to celebrate our sweet girl Alison's wedding day!!! Two days with them to have fun....YES PLEASE!!! All the girls on this blog are who I am referring to right now!

We are dead in the middle of our local Come See Me Festival which is basically 10 days of endless family fun. This year, my friend Laura and I are chairing an event that lasts four days and is basically all day long, back and forth. It will be fun and we are excited to help in the best way we can and also dress up as HUGE Frogs (the mascots Glen and Glenda!). Laura and I have fun no matter what we are doing so I'm also excited to just be with her but I need to also be able to keep my house super perfect for showings (still on the market! Somebody buy it!) and to figure out where my 3 little ones will be while I'm volunteering. (Grandparents are gifts from God!!)

Here is a glimpse at this past weeks festivities!

Tadpole Club (I mean! Those faces!)
#1 Female in my Age Division 10K
 5th Overall Female in 10K
Mrs. Rock Hill's Final Appearance! Pretty glad but I LOVE my kids at The Boys & Girl's Club! This was fun and I WANT that car!!!!!
 MASCOTS EVERYWHERE
Local Sponsors/Volunteers (I get the question a lot, are they all your children or are those two twins (Brandon and Cecilia))
Endless Kid Fun

Hope everyone has a blessed week! I will leave you with this quote I saw and I just LOVED it!!

Dirty, grimy stove grates?! I got you covered!

Happy Wednesday y'all! I recently have been cleaning like a fool. I don't know what it is, but I have dusted, vacuumed, made trips to Goodwill, and just all around have been CRACKED OUT on cleaning.

One thing that always got me, and I could NEVER get clean were my stove grates/cover things. I cook A LOT in my house, and the build up was just bad. I would soak them, spray on all kinds of grease remover, and nothing ever came close! Well, I stumbled upon a trick on Pinterest. Maybe I'm late to the party...please excuse me if I am, but I've just got to tell y'all how EFFORTLESS it is to clean the dirtiest of stoves.

All you need is:
  • Ammonia
  • Gallon size Ziplocs
Take out your grates if you have a gas stove or the covers if electric. Place each one into its own Ziploc bag and add about  1-3 tablespoons of ammonia. Seal those bags up and let them sit. I did this right before we went to bed and let them sit for about 12-13 hours. The ammonia fumes inside the bag help to break down all the GUNK that's been cooked on there for who knows how long?!

This morning, once I removed them from the bags and put them in hot soapy water to soak for about an extra 30 minutes or so. I wiped them down with a sponge, rinsed with hot water and BOOM! Clean stove covers!!

I don't have a before picture of the dirty ones, but I do have the after picture above and then a picture of one of the bags. YUCK!

Work smarter, not harder!

I am going to try this also on some of my cookie sheets. Let me know if it works for you!

**NOTE**
Do NOT mix ammonia with bleach. Or really any other kitchen cleaning supplies. I would try to do this in a well ventilated area.

Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Where The Green Grass Grows

It has only been a week since I last blogged and this just confirms that a lot happens in my life in a week. Maybe that is why I never seem to run out of things to write about on this blog. That song is foreshadowing!!!

We just listed our house so I will get to that but on top of that, the kids are all out of school for Spring Break and as much as we would have loved to travel to the beach, it just wasn't in the cards this year. We will be there in a few weeks and we have stayed BUSY. This week has made me very excited and exhausted thinking about the summer. These babies are so much fun. And THANK YOU JESUS, that I get to enjoy it all EVERY day and I will never look back and say I wish I would have spent more time with them doing all the regular things.

So the move...we just listed our house while everyone is out of town for vacation and the Easter holiday. So hopefully once everyone is back in town we can get this house sold. We almost listed a year ago but we just weren't certain about all the logistics and the home we wanted to build.

Patrick and I did a lot of soul searching. We only want to move ONE more time because moving, especially with small children, is HARD. I know my heart is in the country and not in a neighborhood.

I grew up in the country. My parents have 30 acres and all the land in front of them is in a land trust so no one builds on it (TOTAL privacy). Patrick grew up in town but his family has a farm on 400 acres. No one in his family lives on that farm but it is a great getaway because it has a lodge to stay in and it is a slice of country heaven. We both LOVE being outdoors and we LOVE our privacy. It is freeing being out in the country, wide open spaces, trees and room for your children to run and explore. It is definitely the life I want my children to have and where I want them to call home. My parents have always told me that I can have however much land I want of theirs but once I build, I have to stay forever because they don't want neighbors. We had to be sure we would be okay being further from things and to know what house we would be happy with FOREVER. I'm thrilled for the endless opportunities that we have out there for 4-wheeler trails, my boys hunting, building anything we want out there and room to plant large gardens.

So, our plan for now is to build a home and pool on the other side of my parent's land and walking trail to my parents house with lights (you know so we can send the 3 lil hams over when we want to have some quiet time!! (I can already picture those little feet running over to Nene & PauPau's house). It is interesting that Patrick and I are on the same page about everything. I'm pretty good about finding floor plans and photos of what we want and he has good ideas of ways to tweak them to our liking before we sit down with an architect.

I'm a visual person. It is INSANE. My mind works as a slideshow for people, words, everything. So if I don't have a photo in my phone or list of something then it does not exist, basically.

This will be a long process. We will be renting for probably a year. We also have to make big decisions about schools, church, and don't forget my gym!!! HA!

Speaking of which, we are heading to a fitness competition tonight. If I'm ever going to be a bikini competitor (oh man I set some crazy goals) then I need to at least watch the pros and see all the work I have to put into this dream.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Easter. I told Whit, "Lets say a prayer someone wants to buy our house!" He said "Mommy I think God will put who is supposed to live here and we just have to let it happen when it's supposed to." MY MOUTH DROPPED!!! Who are you? Why are you so wise??? I think God was speaking through my child like "listen woman I've gotten you this far...be patient and have faith in my timing!" God's timing isn't always with our timing. We literally listed our house a few days ago but even if it takes awhile, it is all up to God. I'm excited for the journey. I'm excited to embrace the process of moving, renting, building and maybe having to do Christmas a little different than we are used to but we will make fun, simple memories. These are the times you always remember. But, wow, Patrick and I both said we already can't stop thinking about sitting outback with our outdoor kitchen, fireplace, swimming pool, and that pretty country sunset!!! Yes! Goals!

So lets go celebrate our loving, forgiving Savior all weekend and be thankful for all the blessings we have and that he continues to bestow upon us!

Love,
Dana

Happy Holy Week!

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Since I double posted twice last week, I figured I'd keep it short and sweet this week. It is a special week in lives of Christians.Yesterday was Palm Sunday and now we lead up to the Resurrection. I always love reading about the Resurrection  because it gives me chills. Can you imagine being Mary Magdalene & Mary and going to the tomb and he isn't there? I am sure that their reactions then would be the same as ours today. Not only did he raise from the dead...but he did EXACTLY what he said he was going to do.
As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.'" Mark 16:5-7

Have a wonderful week!

xoxo,
Haley
